We’ve been fans of Nestldown for a while now, so when Clara and Peter decided to choose Nestldown for their wedding venue, we swooned a little. The beautiful property is right off the 17 highway and feels like you’re in the heart of the Santa Cruz mountains, when in fact, you’re technically in Los Gatos. There are many gorgeous angles to Nestldown, from the dream cottage, to the pond, to the lake by the ceremony site… but let’s not forget the main attraction: the redwood trees. Nestldown is hidden in a sea of redwood trees; getting married there feels like you own a piece of Muir Woods!
There is a touch of luxury at every point of the wedding day, from the old English car (stick shift! Left handed!) that drives you to the ceremony site, to the mini train you hop on for your grand entrance at the reception. Nestldown is just a feast to the eyes and a completely unique experience. We a lot of fun with great DJ’ing at the end of the night, with blasts of colors from everywhere. Thank you Clara and Peter for having us and congratulations!

Earlier this year I was fortunate enough to photograph Katrina Patchett, winner dancer of Season 1 of Dancing with the Stars French edition. Well, here I am again, lucky to be photographing the winner of season 2 of Dancing With the Stars, Maxime Dereymez. Maxime will be the all around favorite for the upcoming 3rd season debuting in just a few weeks in Paris.
One of the challenges and really fascinating aspects of working with celebrity dancers is to highlight the different sides of their personalities, which really gets showcased in the way they move. I wanted to make sure I captured some of Max’s silly side, because he has these awesome bursts of fun/crazy laughter!
To finish it off, we did a few more with more Katrina and Maxime together, since they are also professional competitors outside of the show. Enjoy!
It is SUCH an honor to receive DIY Weddings Magazine! When we heard the news that Melanie and Chase’s Los Altos History Museum wedding was going to be printed, we did a little (ok, not so little) dance of joy. Seeing it in person is so rewarding!

How can you not fall in love with Clara & Peter? They are just so much fun to be around. Clara & Peter chose to do their engagement session at vineyards they love – at the heart of Napa, California. We stumbled upon amazing oak trees and were simply jaw-droppingly beautiful. We can’t wait for the wedding!
We’re always up for fun and quirky ideas, so when Avanti & Sunil told us they wanted to have fun with balloons, we just couldn’t resist! As we walked around our favorite Mountain View park, we decided on the spur of the moment to rent some bicycles… it’d been AGES since I’d ridden one, and it’s true, you don’t forget! We had many many laughs going up and down the small hills, and amazing light, which was perfect for the medium format Mamyia I brought along!
I’m so excited to show you this super fun & creative engagement session! Belen & Brian aren’t just fun… they’re FUN. So we needed a really vibrant, fun and creative way to show off their humor and their personality. There’s nothing like splashing paint all over one another, right?
