I have been a faithful Rangefinder Magazine subscriber ever since we started Sphynge Photography. I’ve read the articles, collected the issues… so it’s with great pride and lots of crazy meets joy that we are announcing that we’re FEATURED IN RANGEFINDER MAGAZINE this month!! Bring on the ZOMGs and the OOOHHHS and AAAAAHHHS because this one goes in the hall of fame of accomplishments! It’s always an honor to be published in magazines! We’re super excited to announce that Gina and Luke’s fun celebration at the Garden Pavilion in Sonoma, California was published in Wine Country Weddings Magazine! Click on the images to see the blog feature.

It is SUCH an honor to receive DIY Weddings Magazine! When we heard the news that Melanie and Chase’s Los Altos History Museum wedding was going to be printed, we did a little (ok, not so little) dance of joy. Seeing it in person is so rewarding!

We’re always up for fun and quirky ideas, so when Avanti & Sunil told us they wanted to have fun with balloons, we just couldn’t resist! As we walked around our favorite Mountain View park, we decided on the spur of the moment to rent some bicycles… it’d been AGES since I’d ridden one, and it’s true, you don’t forget! We had many many laughs going up and down the small hills, and amazing light, which was perfect for the medium format Mamyia I brought along!

We are so honored that Jessica & Keith’s wedding was featured in Destination I Do! Magazine. This texan couple chose us for their San Francisco celebration – and what a journey it was! We started at the Legion of Honor and continued to China Beach where Jessica and Keith exchanged vows with the Golden Gate Bridge as their backdrop. I hope you’ll enjoy these photographs – we definitely had so much fun taking them! Congratulations Jessica & Keith!

 

 

 

 

 

What a ridiculous year it’s been already! We’ve won an award, gotten into a wedding print magazine… how can it get better?


Friday I get a chat – “Congrats on being featured by Blurb in their newsletter for Valentine’s Day!!”. What? Our book was chose among hundreds of thousands?? Seriously? Yes, seriously. The Blurb staff chose Gina & Luke’s wedding guest book as an example to all their customers. We’re so honored!

2011 was a pretty fantastic year for Sphynge Photography – we had amazing clients and astounding success, thanks to you

We also had incredible editorial success. Looking back at the list, it just seems ridiculous, insane, and mindblowing… we were published 31 times! T-h-i-r-t-y — O-n-e!!!

We’re off to a great start in 2012 with 2 features in January, and a PRINT feature coming on the stands in June. Can’t wait to give you the details! In the meantime… here’s our full 2011 roster:
