Who doesn’t love the fishies? I love the fishies! So I was super happy when Kelsey & Bryce wanted them fishies in their engagement session Bonus points for also bringing the jelly fish to the party. It’s always a pleasure to go wandering about San Francisco… but when Ben and Melissa agreed to face the rain, I got excited. I know, I know… you’d think, duck! But no – with rain comes incredible, dramatic skies, and unlimited potential for creative shots. It was incredible fun to get rained on, and our daredevil attitude had a huge payoff: one of the most jaw-dropping sunsets I’ve EVER experienced. And here we are…

I have been a faithful Rangefinder Magazine subscriber ever since we started Sphynge Photography. How can you not fall in love with Clara & Peter? They are just so much fun to be around. Clara & Peter chose to do their engagement session at vineyards they love – at the heart of Napa, California. We stumbled upon amazing oak trees and were simply jaw-droppingly beautiful. We can’t wait for the wedding!

We’re always up for fun and quirky ideas, so when Avanti & Sunil told us they wanted to have fun with balloons, we just couldn’t resist! As we walked around our favorite Mountain View park, we decided on the spur of the moment to rent some bicycles… it’d been AGES since I’d ridden one, and it’s true, you don’t forget! We had many many laughs going up and down the small hills, and amazing light, which was perfect for the medium format Mamyia I brought along!

I’m so excited to show you this super fun & creative engagement session! Belen & Brian aren’t just fun… they’re FUN. So we needed a really vibrant, fun and creative way to show off their humor and their personality. There’s nothing like splashing paint all over one another, right?
